Razz is a variation of poker that is played with a maximum of eight players with limit betting. What this means is that there is a fixed amount that a player can bet per betting round. At the beginning of the game, the player is dealt three cards, two cards are face down and the third card is dealt face up. The person showing the highest face up card is the first one that has to bet, if two players share the same ranking card, the tie breaker goes to suit. The suits are ranked with spades being the highest, followed by hearts, diamonds, and then clubs. After the first bet is made, the betting is continued going clockwise or to the left. After the first round of betting is completed, every player remaining is dealt another card face up, betting is restarted, however this time, the first person to bet is showing the lowest hand value. The betting is the same for the fifth card; however, at this point the betting increments are doubled. The sixth card happens in the same manner as the fourth and fifth card. The seventh and final card is dealt face down and the betting starts with the person who bet first on the 6th hand.
